Welcome! We’re pleased that you want to become a part of our shop!
We base prices on supply and demand and we get the best possible prices for you. A small buyer’s fee will be added to the price of all items. This fee is paid by the buyer, not by the consignor.
Your items are consigned for (90 days) 3 months and may not be picked up early. Pricing will be set by Back on the Racks. Periodic sales are at the discretion of Back on the Racks. Permanent markdowns are as follows:
First 6 weeks…Full price
Weeks 7-8…15% OFF
Weeks 9-10…25% OFF
Weeks 11-12…50% OFF
When items sell, 40% of the final selling price, less taxes and buyer’s fees, will be credited to your account. Store credit may be used at any time. A check or cash for account balances may be picked up during regular business hours, after the 10th of each month for the previous month’s sales. Amounts less than $10 will be paid in cash, amounts over $10 will be paid by check. Checks will not be mailed to consignors (except in pre-authorized extenuating circumstances).
All consignment account balances must be collected by the consignor within 180 days (6months) from original consignment date. All account balances remaining at Back on the Racks after 180 days (6 months) from original consignment date will NOT qualify for cash/check payout and may ONLY be used as store credit at Back on the Racks Consignment Boutique.
It is the consignor’s responsibility to keep track of the 3-month consignment period and to retrieve any unsold items during week 12 (7 days BEFORE consignment expiration). Consignors who would like to retrieve their unsold items will need to pull their own unsold items from the sales floor. If you call within the week BEFORE your pick-up date, Back on the Racks can pull your unsold items for you at a rate of $.50 per item. If you do not want your unsold items, they will be discounted to 75% off/placed on the Clearance Rack, then donated to a charity. Items not picked up within 7 days BEFORE their expiration date become the property of Back on the Racks and will not be returned to the consigner.

We will do our best to safeguard your items but we are not responsible for any items lost, stolen or damaged.

~MART BRANDS (K Mart, Walmart, Target, Payless Shoes) We generally do not accept Old Navy, JC Penny, Kohls, Forever 21, Wet Seal, Aeropostale, Express & Sears- Unless it has MAJOR "Cute" Factor!
THESE BRANDS INCLUDE:

WE ALSO DO NOT ACCEPT:
~Wedding & Prom dresses
~Children's Items: Clothing, Toys, Books, Furniture, DVDs, Infant Equipment (strollers, car seats, etc.)
~ Work-Out Wear
~Women's Suits, Dress Pants, Dressy Shoes/Pumps
WE NEVER ACCEPT:
Clothing with wrinkles, pet hair, odors (especially smoke) stains, dirt, tears, holes…You know, the things you don’t want to see in a store!
*Should be like new, current styles (bought within the last 2-3 years) and freshly laundered (within 1 week)
*Swimwear must be machine laundered.
*Zippers must work, all buttons must be present, and all snaps, buttons, and zippers should be fastened.
*Clothing brought in plastic or paper bags will not be accepted!
*Clothing must be presented
on hangers with ONE EXCEPTION...pants, jeans and shorts may be neatly folded.
*Must be CLEAN
(YES, THIS MEANS WASH THE SOLES, WIPE OFF DUST, AND POLISH IF NECESSARY),New or in Excellent Condition with Little Wear.
Ten items or less are accepted without an appointment as long as we're accepting that day (it's always best to call first!)
Please call during regular business hours to schedule an appointment for 11-30 items. During your appointment we LOOK at 30 items or less. Please be respectful of this policy! Thank You!
